Terms of Use

The service
CasaCaddy helps you inventory household equipment, plan routine maintenance, and find general do-it-yourself guidance. It is provided by Soxoa ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Not professional advice
Maintenance schedules, recognition results, and guides are AI-assisted, general-purpose information — not professional, safety, or code-compliance advice, and they may be wrong. Always follow the manufacturer's manual and local codes. Work involving gas, high voltage, refrigerant, structural elements, or anything you are not certain about should be done by a licensed professional. You are responsible for what you do to your home. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage, injury, or loss arising from acting on information in the app.
CasaCaddy Pro subscription
- Auto-renewing subscription: $5.99/month or $39.99/year (7-day free trial on the annual plan). A one-time Lifetime unlock is also offered.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited on purchase.
- Deleting CasaCaddy data or the app does not cancel an active Apple subscription. Use Manage Subscription in CasaCaddy Settings or Apple billing support to cancel.
- If a subscription lapses, nothing you created is deleted or locked: items, schedules, reminders, and previously opened guides remain available. Pro-only features (up to 30 AI recognitions per day and 60 fresh AI guides per day, consumables list, CSV export) pause until you resubscribe.
Fair use
AI recognition and guide generation are metered to keep the service fast and affordable. Pro includes up to 30 AI recognitions per day and 60 fresh AI guides per day. Manual items and guides already opened remain available without consuming those daily AI allowances. Automated, bulk, or abusive use may be throttled.
Finding a pro
The find-a-pro feature hands you off to third-party directories (Maps, Yelp, Angi, Thumbtack). We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, any engagement between you and a contractor.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
